Your Webkinz will come with a secret code that unlocks the fun at Webkinz World, where you can play games, take quizzes, take care of your ‘virtual’ online Webkinz, and earn and spend KinzCash. You can even talk to your friends or make new ones with KinzChat.
First, choose and buy the plush Webkinz you want. There are over 60 different kinds of pets for you to adopt, from dogs and cats like the Pug or the Alley Cat, to more exotic pets like the Velvety Elephant, the Seal or the Gorilla. There are even holiday Webkinz, like the Black Cat who sneaks out at Halloween, and the Sherbet Bunny who hops along at Easter time.
Join Webkinz World
Once you’ve picked your favorite, then it’s time to use its secret code to go online at Webkinz World. Ms. Birdy, your friendly guide, makes it easy for you to register. She’ll lead you through the steps, and give you tips about how to choose a username and password. Never share your password with anyone, but be sure to write your username and password down, in case you do forget!
Then you use the secret code that came with your Webkinz to adopt your pet online. Now you’re a member of Webkinz World for a year, and the fun begins!
A World Of Fun
You’ll start out with a room and 2000 dollars in KinzCash that you can use to buy furniture. As you earn more KinzCash, you can buy more rooms and more nifty things to decorate them. And you can buy things for your Webkinz, like clothes, toys and food.
KinzCash is a big part of Webkinz, and there are many different ways for you to get it while having fun. You can answer trivia questions at Quizzy’s Corner, play games in the Arcade, spin the Wheel of Wow to see what you can win, go to the Employment Office and get a fun job, or even just take care of your pet every day to earn KinzCash and food.
There are hourly and daily activities for you to do, like searching for jewels and charms in the Gem Hunt and the Charm Forest, or making wishes in the Wishing Well. You can read stories, enter contests, and even send your pet to school at the Kinzville Academy! You’ll even be reminded to do things like brush your teeth for a healthy smile, eat fruit, and take a break from the computer to play outside.
Have fun challenging other Webkinz owners to games in the Tournament Arena, and talk to your friends in KinzChat and invite them to see your rooms! You choose what to say from a list, so that no one can ruin the fun for others.
And with your parents’ permission, you can chat in KinzChat Plus, where you type in what you want to say. But there are always adults watching out for you to make sure that everyone’s safe and having fun!
